ATTENDING CHRISTMAS MASSES 2020
The deadline for submitting this form is Monday, December 7 at 4:00 PM.
St. Pius X Stable in the Cloister
We are determined not to let the Pandemic restrictions dampen the joy of our Christmas celebrations. The Pandemic does necessitate social-distancing that will impact our attendance. Please read the following instructions and follow the guidelines below before submitting your form.
INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES
Please submit only one form, whether you are an individual or for your household or family group.
Consider attending with your immediate family members only, thus allowing other parishioners to attend as well.
Your form submission will be placed in a lottery because of the high number of requests we anticipate.
You will receive an email if you are selected by the lottery with further instructions for attendance.
Those without access to the electronic form may call the office to register for the lottery.
Submission of this form does not guarantee your attendance at Mass on Christmas Eve or Christmas.
If you receive word that you are selected and later find you are unable to attend, we ask that you call the parish office immediately so your seats at Mass may be shared with another parishioner.
The Octave of Christmas runs through January 1. We will be celebrating Christmas at all of our liturgies for the eight days. If you are unable to join us on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, please consider attending during the Octave. Remember that, because of the pandemic, there is still a dispensation in place from the obligation to attend Mass. If you are unable to attend because of health or any other reason, please know that you will be in our prayers and it is our hope that you will feel the Spiritual Communion of Saints during this Holy Season.
AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
