BECOMING CATHOLIC
THE ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (OCIA)

OCIA is a year-round process for those who seek full initiation into the Catholic Church. Anyone who is interested in the Catholic faith may enter the inquiry process at any time. Children and adolescents prepare for full initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) with a children’s catechumenate team. Sacraments for those in OCIA are typically celebrated at the Easter Vigil each spring.
INQUIRY SESSIONS
We will hold two inquiry sessions over the summer for interested parties to learn about the process and ask questions. The dates are June 7 and August 9 - 10:00 am in the parish center, Nicodemus Room.

2026-2027 OCIA SESSIONS
We will begin meeting in September 2026 for those who wish to be Baptized or Confirmed in the Catholic Faith during Easter 2027. Please fill out the online registration form link below.

REGISTRATION & FEES
There is a $50 materials fee for OCIA. Please contact the parish if you would like to register or use the link below.
